Among the many services offered by Royen, our “Restoration” department is charged with returning your trailers and tractor-trailers to their former glory, always with durability as the watchword. It is not just a simple refurbishment: after a complete renovation, your vehicle will leave our workshops as if it was brand new!
After we have inspected the vehicle, we will take the time to discuss your expectations and review the scope of the work to be carried out together. This work can vary greatly depending on the customer's needs and the vehicle type.
The reconditioning operations range from sandblasting to complete reconditioning to overhauling electrical, mechanical or hydraulic components.
During full reconditioning, the trailer is completely dismantled, and each component is carefully checked for repair or replacement, depending on the level of wear. The chassis is stripped bare by being completely sanded down (SA3), then treated with a long-life anti-corrosion surface treatment using a hot zinc metallisation process.
All the surface treatment steps, from sandblasting to painting as well as metallisation, are carried out within our own facilities. The fact that the process is controlled from A to Z in-house ensures customers of careful work, executed according to state-of-the-art rules for the best possible protection against corrosion.
